Today is Primary Day here in New Hampshire and I hope you'll go out and complete your civic duty! Voting and political engagement are free, easy and quick tools that can greatly affect the environment - either positively or negatively. If you look at the past decade in the United States, different presidential administrations created policies with huge ramifications, such as weakening the EPA, leasing out National Parks for fossil fuel mining OR increasing reusable energy infrastructure. In New Hampshire specifically, you can think about the Northern Pass, interest in a train down to Boston, municipal composting programs etc. Many elections often come down to few votes, so your voice matters! Here are your polling sites if you live in Concord. For other towns, click here. Many polling stations are open until 7pm. If you have kids, bring them! Never too early to start some good habits. Happy voting!
